She has produced community radio and undertaken design and photographic commissions. Emma has recently produced a video with The Meriton Young Parents Education Centre representing student’s experiences and perspectives of learning at the school. Click here to see the video on the school website.
In 2010, Emma was a scriptwriting and directing mentor to young filmmakers from Knowle West Media Centre in Bristol who created a short film is collaboration with Watershed, funded by First Light Film. The film is themed on the Olympic values of friendship, excellence and respect – Counter Punch is about a young boxer, Harry who is inspired to fight by the memory of a beloved grandad, a former champ, whose advice was ‘to follow your dreams’. In doing so Harry breaks the mould leaving rivals ‘on the ropes’.
